My friend Yoke gave me a taste of this amazing product, from CoCoMe it was one of the nicest things I had ever tasted ! I couldn't stop thinking about it over the next couple of weeks. So I got in my car & drove 100kms to buy some more & while I was there I bought other flavours to try, this one is still my favourite, but they are all really yummy ! Also super healthy, vegan, fermented fantastical food !

๐Ÿ™‚ As I said in the "Some like it Hot" post, my friends had pre-paid 2 loaves, suggesting one could have olives added. The recipe makes 3, so I decided to do something different for myself, ๐Ÿ˜ƒ as I am not encompassed in the "Some" that like it hot ! ๐ŸžThis loaf is a๐Ÿ…๐Ÿง€ "Sundried Tomato, Olive, Haloumi & Cheddar Sourdough with Sesame & Parmesan". I will do a separate post for the other 2 loaves pictured, so keep your eyes out for them ๐Ÿ‘€, they were also different from each other & super tasy ! ๐ŸŽŠ Details accompany photos, describing ingredients, techniques etc.

๐Ÿ• Gluten Free Sourdough Pizza !! ๐Ÿ• The dough was made using a Red Sorghum Gluten free Starter & Wild Sourdough All Purpose Flour. I made 3 pizza's but only have photos of 2. The first pizza was a bit burnt, the second was the best but didn't get photo before or after cooking, as once I got it off the paper while it was hot, we just gobbled it all up. ๐Ÿ˜ƒThe last pizza was pretty good too but I only got a before photo, once again we made sure to eat it while it was hot. They were all lovely thin crust, crunchy pizza's. ๐Ÿ’– Details accompany photos. This was the evening of Sunday 17th of July.

๐Ÿ™‚ Yesterday 18th of July 2022, I used a piece of Gluten Free Sourdough Pizza dough (leftover from evening before), to create 2 delicious wraps. ๐Ÿ™ Much more nutritious than regular bread, filling & tasty as well. ๐Ÿ’ฅPUMPERNICKEL SOURDOUGH๐Ÿ’ฅ This bread is quite a special loaf, so full of delicious flavours. It is really not surprising though when you read the ingredients of the recipe called "My Pumpernickel" in the book pictured, Yoke Mardewi from Wild Sourdough
has created some amazing recipes in this book. These loaves were made on 13th of June & cooked that evening after they had risen/fermented.

This is a photo of my right hand, a couple of weeks after surgery for Carpal tunnel release. I had to wear a bandage for the first 2 weeks, this photo was taken after the stitches were removed, the wound had split open a bit, thus making it take slightly longer for the cut to heal over. You don't realise how hard it is to do every day things without the use of both your hands, until you can't really use one of those hands, in this case (I am right handed), the most important hand.
Obviously I was unable to do basic things for a while, certainly the Sourdough bread making had to take a break, the operation was January 18th of this year & it was a couple of months before my hand was working a bit better. In fact, I didn't even attempt baking until April 26th, which is the day I mixed the dough for the buns & bread I cooked that is in these photos. The recipes I used for the Bread & Rolls were from Yoke Mardewi's book pictured. Wild Sourdough
I am booked in to have surgery on my left hand July 5th, so will probably be out of action again for a short while, probably not as long as it was with my right hand. It is a bit frustrating when I would like for both my hands to be working properly & be able to get on with trying to have a successful business.
