We’re hiring: Night / Early Morning Packer (Coolroom) – Wardell

We’ve lost a long-term staff member and we’re looking for a reliable person to take over our packing role at Wardell Pies.

The role:
- Wardell location
- Tuesday to Saturday (5 days)
- Night / early morning shift
- 4–5 hours per shift
- Working in a coolroom
- Packing orders into boxes so they’re ready for 8:00am deliveries
- Mostly working alone
- Responsible for accurate packing + correct labelling for the right destination

You’ll suit this if you are:
- Reliable and punctual (this role is time-critical)
- Accurate and detail-focused
- Comfortable working in a coolroom environment
- Happy working independently
- Physically capable of repetitive packing/lifting

Pay: Award rates apply.

We’re still out of pies today at Wardell Cafe & Takeaway while the oven is down.

Good news: the part is due to arrive today, so we’re hoping to be back baking and back to normal tomorrow.

IMPORTANT UPDATE – WARDELL PIES

Hey everyone, quick apology and update.

Our oven has broken down at the Wardell pie factory and the parts won’t be in for a few days. That means we’re unable to bake pies for the moment, and it will affect pie availability at Wardell Cafe & Takeaway.

We’re onto it and will post again as soon as we’re back up and running. Thanks so much for your patience and support – we really appreciate it.
