In case you missed it…😍

This week our home in Wahroonga settled!🎉🥂

We moved out of Sydney, and have headed north to our temporary accommodation in Lake Macquarie. We are still busy looking for our new 🏡!

This week has been a true rollercoaster. Saying goodbye to our home and my oven LEC, brought up so many feelings, but the emotion that completely fills my heart right now is excitement. 🌟 We are so incredibly ready for what’s ahead! 🎉🥂💐

Who would have thought a humble sugar cookie recipe could lead to so many happy memories..🙏❤️

So I had been planning to share with you a recipe close to my heart and something you could use with Mother’s Day coming up, especially since our kitchen is currently closed.

Coincidentally, today, May 1st, is Kaz Bakes 5th birthday.🎉❤️

Beauty in Bloom 💐

When I just need to see something beautiful, I find myself looking back at these. It will never get old for me, seeing a floral cupcake bouquet I have created. There is a quiet magic in the rhythm of piping every petal and watching a garden bloom, a process that continues to bring so much joy.😊💐

At a time where there is a lot of change in our lives, selling our home, finding our new home, not knowing the path for Kaz Bake…

It’s a bit strange being in this middle ground, but I’m trying to see the 'limbo' as a chance to catch my breath before the next big adventure begins. 🎉

Doing what you love is a privilege I never take for granted. There is a unique magic in entrepreneurship: helping you celebrate with something sweet is at the core of why I do this, and once you’ve built a business fueled by that kind of passion, nothing else compares! 🥰

I wouldn’t be where I am today without you. Your support has been the secret ingredient in everything I do, and I’m just so thankful to have you all in my corner. 🙏❤️

Take a trip down memory lane with me..

It was 2021. I had finished working in Finance after 17 years and I was embarking on a new journey starting Kaz Bake…❤️

I wanted to experience the fun side of baking and creating again, so I attended a few courses at the Australian Patisserie Academy.👩‍🍳

These were just as much fun to make as they are to look at! Pure joy in edible form. 😍

Everything you see here—from the pastry to the glaze—is made from scratch. Every detail was crafted for balance—from the crunch of the sweetened short pastry to the subtle 'tipple' of Marsala in the whipped mascarpone. With a hidden fruit jelly center and a flawless mirror glaze, they’re a true celebration of strawberry and apple.

It was during this time when the creative spark was fully reignited. Getting back to the heart of what I love! ❤️
