5 years ago…

I had just launched Kaz Bake!🎉

I had one customer!🙏

I was navigating starting a small business, during a pandemic!😳

Fast forward to now…

I have created demand. Even though I paused the business due to our relocation, I have been received a number of enquiries! 🙏 Shows me that the effort I have put in is working! It breaks my heart at the moment that I can not fulfil your orders.🤗

I have repeat customers! 🙏😍

I found my place at a market and had the most beautiful regular customers! 😍 Plus met lots of fabulous stallholders! I miss you all!❤️

I have an amazing business mentor in Maggie 🙏🤩

I have this wonderful supportive community here on my socials and beyond! Thank you! ❤️💐

Most of all I have had so much fun along the way!🤩

When I compare the last 5 years to the previous years working in Finance, it just doesn't compare! My days are rewarding, I created my destiny and I built this business from scratch!🙌

All this motivates me to keep going!! I need to be back in business in trading again cause I finally found my calling!🥰

I am spending time at the moment looking at what the next 5 years look like! Exciting times!😍

Sometimes you just want a piece of delicious decadent cake…🍰😋

This was me on Monday of the long weekend.🙋🏻‍♀️

We had a lovely lunch with friends and then I thought a piece of cake would be nice!😍

Of course everything was closed… Everyone needs a day off!🙌

So instead I was left to dream of cakes of the past, like this moist chocolate cake, filled with handmade raspberry couli and rich dark chocolate ganache! One of my go to fave cakes! 🥰

She doesn’t know it yet..

These beautiful moments with her family at the beach became lasting core memories, ensuring the beach will forever be her happy place. 🌊 😍

That the ocean would always bring her back to centre and create a space to dream and wonder!🥰

That she would find and marry someone who would love the beach as much as she does!❤️

That right when she needed it most, a move back to the beach would bring the perfect inspiration for the next chapter. 🌅🤩

May was a big month!❤️

Kaz Bakes 5th birthday! 🎉🥰

A wonderful trip to NZ to celebrate Mothers Day, Nephew's 5th birthday and Dads 80th birthday!🎉🎂❤️

Then we ✈ to Sydney to pack up our home and move north 🏖!

Looking back, this month has just been so incredibly special. ❤️ Creating these milestone cakes for my family was amazing, but the cherry on top was spending time with family and friends. 🥰

Thank you everyone for cheering me on and sharing in this journey every step of the way! ❤️
