I've been pretty quiet on this page, however have been busy in the kitchen!

Today we had a family trip to Brisbane and delivered four Primal Alternative orders en route.
One of those lovely customers ordered the Brownie Mix among other things.

On the way home, instead of stopping off for coffee and cake ( Mikey really just wanted to get home) I remembered I had a spare bag made up.

Within 25 mins of walking through the door we had warm fudgy brownies to enjoy with a well earned coffee.

With a 6 month shelf life on the mix, and quality ingredients I reckon you should have a bag in your pantry at all times!

Excuse the half eaten brownie, couldn't wait to tuck in!

I intend to be intentional with everything I do, and when I'm baking I make sure that I am totally loving the process. A Nice Cup of Tea, some good tunes or a great podcast are the order of the day.

I offer up little prayers of gratitude for the ingredients I get to use, my home and kitchen, and of course to my amazing customers.

I trust that each item I bake will land exactly where it needs to.

This weekend I baked for a lovely lady who has been in and out of hospital and is on a healing journey for sure (thank you GAPS) and another friend who (as far as I know) is blessed with good health, and enjoys work outs at the gym, and nourishing foods.

I've received an order for the delicious Fruit and Nut Loaf, so thought to see who else might like one whilst I have the oven on later this week.

It is delicious toasted and topped with butter, maybe some honey, or a homemade 'nutella' (actually Pana Organic make a Hazelnut Choc Spread which is magical.

I often have this loaf topped with cheese to save me looking for inevitably stale crappy GF crackers!

I slice it, and b**g it in the freezer, and then pop a slice in the toaster when I fancy it. Stores in the fridge for a solid 2 weeks too.

Ingredients: water, tapioca flour, almond meal, sultanas, linseeds, sunflower kernels, inca berries, walnuts, cashew nuts, olive oil, lemon juice, chia seeds, spices, grain-free baking powder, sea salt.

Who loves sauerkraut? What do you eat it with and when?

I managed to get hold of some organic cabbage a few weeks ago, and instead of letting it rot in the back of the fridge I got into action and made a couple of batches of kraut.

Can't remember the exact ingredients now, however this batch made in the Mad Millie fermenting pot was white cabbage, carrot, some green apple and fennel seeds.

The other batch I made straight in jars included cabbage, pineapple, carrot and chilies.
