Thank you to who have published the Sugar Skulls Sugar Artists collaboration - a celebration of the day of the dead in the May-June edition. Thanks also to for running this collaboration. It was a great chance for me to work on a single cookie with both Royal Icing and fondant.

A cookie dinosaur (an Euoplocephalus to be exact) in his natural outdoor habitat. This cookie is decorated with moulded Royal Buttercream (buttercream I used was ) with spikes made from pasta model, and airbrushed. Made for the dinosaur collaboration hosted by

Some left over yellow icing, so I decided to decorate 3 small cookies. I didn’t have a plan as to how I was going to do it, so I just started piping lines and I ended up with this. Love the dimensions that have been created with it. Maybe I will get the chance to make something planned in the future.

Sharing the photos of my miniature cake that received a highly commended at the Sydney Royal Easter Show. It has zentangles painted onto it, the space is filled with wafer paper and has pipes royal icing in the style of Spirograph drawings on top. All in all it should be a very therapeutic make.
