Many of you will know chefs Jen and Grae Stockdale from their restaurant Stockpot Kitchen.♥️
You’ll also know them as the family who, after losing everything in the 2022 Northern Rivers floods, opened a free kitchen and fed their community every single day, even while their own restaurant sat destroyed.
They’re the kind of people who quietly show up for everyone else.
Now they need us.
Their 20-year-old son Seb has been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia with an FLT3 mutation — a rare, fast-growing form of blood cancer. Seb urgently needs a stem cell (bone marrow) transplant. Without a donor match, it’s a pretty rough ride ahead.
Right now, the single most important thing anyone can do is this:
👉 If you’re aged 18–35, please register as a potential stem cell donor.
It usually starts with a simple cheek swab or blood test.
You don’t have to be related.
You can be anywhere in the world.
Most donations are nothing like people imagine — no giant needles, no surgery — often it’s similar to a longer blood donation.
The more people on the registry, the better Seb’s chances — and the chances for every family fighting this.
If you’re in Australia, you can register here:

Please share this. Talk to your kids, siblings, friends, workmates. Someone out there could be Seb’s match.🙌
This family has given so much to our community.
It’s our turn now.
