A huge thank you to my beautiful bride and groom for trusting me to create this beauty! 🤍💍

This one certainly set me a challenge… one that probably shouldn’t have been quite as challenging as I made it! 😂

After a few trials, a few errors and plenty of determination, I think I can officially say… I actually LOVE making macarons now! 🥹💕

Sometimes the biggest challenges turn into the sweetest creations! ✨

FOUR. FAILED. BATCHES. OF. MACARONS. 🤦‍♀️😂

Yep, four batches before I finally admitted defeat and headed onto Booktopia to purchase Magnolia Kitchen’s cookbook by the incredible Bets Gee! 📖

The funny thing is, I already owned this cookbook, but somewhere along the way during our move, it disappeared!

I honestly should have just bought it again in the first place! 😂

Her macaron recipe is hands down the BEST I have ever used! 🙌

Yes, it’s a little more complicated than some of the other recipes out there, and yes, it takes a little extra time and patience, but it has NEVER failed me!

And after four disastrous batches, I was reminded that sometimes it’s not about giving up, it’s about going back to what you know works. ❤️

A little reminder that even the biggest baking fails can turn into something pretty amazing! 🩷

Loved creating this knitting-inspired cake, complete with balls of yarn, knitting needles, buttons, pearls and lots of pretty pastel details. 💕💜💚

Inside was a rich chocolate mud cake, layered with silky vanilla Swiss meringue buttercream and finished with white chocolate ganache. 🤎🤍

Such a fun and personal cake to create for a milestone birthday! 🎂✨
