Earlier this year, when our main oven unexpectedly broke down, we made the big decision to completely revamp the back of the shop. It was a significant investment, and we engaged a local contractor to complete the fit-out, believing they would ensure everything was installed correctly and be available to service the new equipment into the future.
Unfortunately, things have not gone as planned. The workmanship fell well below expectations, with damaged equipment, poor-quality installation, and ongoing issues that have meant our new equipment is still not operating as it should. While we can't go into further detail or name anyone for legal reasons, we are now relying on other trades to rectify the work and get us fully operational again.
At the moment, our gas oven is still out of action, so we're back to baking limited quantities of bread in our smaller oven. Between the extended closure we've already had and the ongoing equipment issues, the impact on our business has been significant.
We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this has caused and ask for your patience while we work through these challenges. We are doing everything we can to get things back to normal as quickly as possible.

• Lucas Woodfield – thank you for getting all of our electrical work sorted.
• STM Interiors – thank you for cutting the door frames when the new oven wouldn't fit through the doorway, and for the extra time and effort you put in to help wherever you could.
• Michael Pazzo – thank you for coming in after hours to tile and repair the broken tiles at the front of the shop that were damaged during the removal of the old oven.
• Armed Up Security – thank you for reinstalling our security camera system.
• Michael Hardy from Hardy Combustion – thank you for stepping in and helping rectify the issues and get us moving in the right direction.
