Unfortunately yesterday we began experiencing some serious equipment failure, we were unable to get the equipment back up and running after multiple hours- The harsh reality is we cannot afford the expense of repairing this equipment just days away from our closure. We have had to face the difficult decision of closing the shop early. It is with a heavy heart that we tell you The Canary Cafe & Bakehouse is no more. We are now CLOSED PERMANENTLY.
After 3 hard fought years we Thank each and every one of our amazing customers. We will miss you and we bless you for the support over the years. We stayed as long as we could and fought hard to survive the pandemic and the drastic changes in our customer trends that’s followed, stood tall against the stream of repeated break-ins that devastated us emotionally and financially time and time again. Sometimes fighting against all odds doesn’t fall in our favour.
