More than a decade of absolute grit. 🤝

After 10+ years of dedicated service, Pete is moving on, and his impact on our logistics network is permanent. Starting out as an Area Manager, Pete immediately proved he wasn't just great with customers, he had a deep, operational understanding of what it actually takes to move massive wholesale volume. That hustle led directly to him taking the reins as Group Distribution Manager when we expanded in 2022.

If you want to know exactly what Pete is made of, you only have to look back at the 2022 floods. The exact night we moved into our Archerfield Depot, the water hit and the grid went completely down. We had zero power for days.

Peter was right there in the dark with the staff and vendors, packing crates by the glow of headlights. He spent countless nights navigating the chaos on the phones, refusing to rest until every single delivery was mapped out and every customer was taken care of.

His support during that difficult time is something we will always appreciate.

Pete, your commitment over the last decade set the benchmark for this entire distribution team. We are going to miss you. Best of luck in your next chapter in Sales!

6,262 crates scanned in, and the shift isn't even over. 🚛🍞 That number on the screen is the direct result of an entire team working day and night to make our 7-day operation possible.

Supplying bread to schools, hospitals, and supermarkets across the region takes an absolute village, especially when supply chains get tight and the pressure is on. You don't move this kind of daily volume without teamwork.

It’s the production crew baking around the clock. It’s the office team managing processes. It’s the cleaners and returns crew scanning every single crate, and our drivers hitting the road long before the sun comes up.

Keeping the region fed is a massive collective grind. Huge respect to every single person on the Homestyle Bake team doing the heavy lifting to get the job done today. 🙌

You don't supply hospitals, schools, and supermarkets across the region without a thriving hub of individuals making what we do possible every single day. 🤝🍔

The last few months have demanded an absolute all-hands-on-deck effort from every single department. When the pressure is on, it is the people on the bakery floor, in distribution and in the office who keep this entire operation moving.

Taking a minute on Tuesday to fire up the grill for our quarterly Staff BBQ was the absolute least we could do to say thank you. Putting on a free lunch (featuring our own rolls, of course) and seeing everyone catch their breath and share a laugh is what it’s all about.

To every single person on the Homestyle Bake team stepping up and grinding it out right now, thank you. We appreciate you.❤

The single biggest occupational hazard of working at a bakery. 🍩👀

You sit down to review footage, look away for two seconds, and the samples box is already compromised. If our own team doesn’t have the willpower to walk past a box of fresh Jam Ball Donuts, you know they won’t sit on school canteen counters or cafe shelves for long.

Safe to say internal "quality testing" passed with flying colours.

If you've ever volunteered to run a Bunnings BBQ, you know it is serious work. 🔥🌭

Massive respect to the Burpengary Meadows State School P&C for absolutely crushing it at Morayfield this weekend!

We supply their school canteen during the week, so dropping off the bread for their weekend fundraiser was an absolute no-brainer for us. Keeping bread supply costs at zero for them means more money goes straight back to the kids.
