Shout out to field and Butter she makes amazing sourdough bread and other amazing products. I am honoured to know and work with amazing bakers.

It is awesome that we can support, help and to know that we can call on each other.

I’m going on a little catering adventure this week! 🌾🤎

This Saturday, Field & Butter is stepping slightly outside the usual bread-and-bakes box and catering a gluten-free spread for a special event!

The menu is looking very delicious:

🧇 Gluten-free waffles with assorted fresh fruit, maple syrup & cream
🍳 Bacon, feta & caramelised onion frittata
🌭 Gluten-free gourmet sausages
🥣 A gorgeous DIY yoghurt bar with seeds, nuts, fruit & honey
🥔 Roasted potatoes with rosemary & sea salt
🍊 Orange, almond & poppyseed cake

And for the cake component, I’m teaming up with another wonderful local baker, Just a lil' more, which I’m particularly excited about. I have been blessed to enjoy Tanina’s delicious treats since way back when we both lived in Melbourne!

It’s a bit different from my usual sourdough loaves and cinnamon scrolls, but I LOVE getting to play around with catering and putting together a beautiful spread.

I’ll share some behind-the-scenes snippets from Saturday, because honestly… there’s going to be a LOT of food coming out of my kitchen and it’s probably going to be a bit chaotic… but isn’t it always. 😂🥰

An oldie but a goodie! Caramel Pineapple Upside down cake. Six of One Coffee Roasters

Fun cake for a lovely lady who turned 85 young! The brief for the cake was that she had been a nurse, seamstress and a love for Frangipanis. Why not put it all in 1 cake.
