You don’t have to overeat at every social event to enjoy yourself. 🌷

This week, we had time to make the decision to eat a meal before the party began and I’m so glad we did.

It meant I arrived feeling satisfied and calm instead of hungry and tempted by all the extra food. 🍽️

These days, I really don’t need extra calories, so I decided ahead of time that I would have one drink and simply enjoy it. 🥂

And I did.

What I loved most was the feeling afterwards. I wasn’t deprived. I wasn’t “being good.” I was simply looking after myself while still being able to go to a party, connect with people and enjoy the night.

That feels like such an important shift.

So many women think healthy living means missing out. But often it’s just about making a few intentional decisions ahead of time so you can enjoy yourself without feeling uncomfortable afterwards.

It’s a subtle difference… but a powerful one. ✨

Do social events make healthy choices harder for you? I’d love to hear your thoughts below. 👇

Did you know it’s actually possible to lose weight through the holidays without feeling deprived? 🎄✨

Most women I speak to expect December and holiday periods to completely derail their progress.

They tell themselves: “I’ll just start again next month.”

But that stop-start cycle is exhausting.

One of my beautiful Masterclass clients recently shared this with me:

“You are a wonderful coach. Your guidance helped me lose weight easily through the holidays, naturally and without the aid of medications or supplements. While this often seems like an impossible task, you made the process feel simple.”

And honestly… that’s exactly what I want women to experience. 🌿

Not another complicated diet. Not obsession. Not guilt and shame.

Just simple, sustainable habits that work in real life.

When women learn how to calm their nervous system, nourish their body properly and create healthy routines they can actually maintain, everything begins to change.

Weight loss starts to feel lighter. Exercise becomes an act of self-care instead of punishment. And confidence slowly returns. 💕

If you’re ready to stop battling yourself and start creating a healthier lifestyle in a calm, supportive and non-judgemental environment, send me a DM with the word “CALM.” 🌸

The biggest difference a plan has made in my life isn’t just physical. It’s the calmness I now feel around food 💗
On Mother’s Day I went out for lunch with my family and it was such a lovely treat. Honestly, the best part was simply being together.
The food was delicious and nutritious too, but because I follow a plan, I already knew exactly what to order. There was no stress, overthinking or guilt attached to the experience.
The food I chose fit my plan, or was very close to it.
But the night before was completely different.
We were at a party where there was only finger food. The party started at 6pm and there wasn’t really a practical way to eat dinner beforehand.
Because this is a rare situation and because I stick to my plan most of the time, I didn’t worry too much about it.
As each platter came out, I simply had one of each. I didn’t overeat and I felt perfectly happy with what I ate.
Then the next day? I simply went back to my normal plan again.
No guilt. No punishment. No “I’ve blown it”.
That’s the difference a sustainable plan makes. It gives you structure without making life feel restrictive.
If you’d love to feel calmer and more confident around food, I’d love to help 💗

Isn’t it funny how the things you’ve been wanting sometimes all show up at once?
Today I caught up with a beautiful friend, my daughter arrived for a visit, and I’ve got more family coming tomorrow. It’s a lot… but in the best possible way.
And instead of feeling overwhelmed, I felt grateful.
Because it reminded me of something important…
It’s so easy to get distracted by everything going on around us. The noise, the negativity, the things we can’t control. Before we know it, we’re focusing more on what’s wrong than what actually matters.
But if you want to enjoy your life more, you have to choose your focus.
Not just on the day-to-day tasks, but on the things that truly light you up. The people you love. The moments that fill your cup.
When you focus on those things, you start to create more of them.
And when they show up… celebrate them.
So tell me, what’s something you want more of in your life right now? 💛

If your plan doesn’t seem to stick, it’s probably not because you lack motivation.

More often than not… it’s because the plan is too complicated.

Trying to change everything at once is overwhelming. And when things feel overwhelming, consistency becomes hard.

What works much better is starting with one small, simple habit.
Something easy to do every single day.

For example, drinking a full glass of water before breakfast.

Then pair it with something you already do, like eating breakfast.

That way it becomes part of your routine instead of something extra to remember.

And if you miss a day? That’s okay.

You don’t need to start over. You just get back to it the next day.

That’s how habits are built… through repetition, not perfection.
Once that habit feels automatic, you can build from there.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, simplify your approach and start small.
And if you’d like my habit tracker to help you stay consistent, comment “TRACK” or send me a message.

Do you ever skip breakfast, eat a small lunch… and then get home and feel completely out of control around food?

Like you could eat everything in sight?

It’s such a common pattern, and it’s not because you lack discipline.
It’s because your body is trying to make up for not getting enough earlier in the day.

By the time you get home, your hunger is no longer manageable… it’s overwhelming.

That’s when it feels like everything unravels.

What actually helps is bringing in more structure, not more restriction.

Eating regular, balanced meals throughout the day helps your body feel safe and supported.

It keeps your hunger steady. It reduces stress. And it prevents that “ravenous” feeling where it’s hard to stop.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need a simple, consistent rhythm.

If this feels familiar, try starting your day with a proper meal and building from there.

And if you’d like help creating a routine that works for your lifestyle, comment “PLAN” or send me a message.

I used to believe I had to be perfect with my food to see results.

Every meal had to be “on track”… and if it wasn’t, I felt like I’d failed.
That kind of thinking keeps so many women stuck.

What actually changed everything for me was shifting my focus from perfection to consistency.

Simple meals. Repeatable choices. Less thinking, more doing.

When you take away the overwhelm, it becomes so much easier to stay on track.

You don’t need more rules. You need a plan you can stick to on your busiest days.

That’s where real results come from.

If you’re tired of starting over, it might be time to simplify.

Comment “PLAN” or message me if you’d like help creating a simple, repeatable approach that works for you.

Most people think they need more motivation… but what they actually need is a plan.

Because motivation comes and goes. Life gets busy. And when there’s no structure in place, it’s so easy to fall back into old habits.
This is something I see all the time with the women I work with.

They start the week strong, but by a few days in, they’re tired of making decisions, unsure what to eat, and feeling like they’ve “fallen off track.”

It’s not a failure. It’s a lack of planning.

A simple meal plan reset can make a huge difference.

When you plan ahead, you remove the guesswork. You reduce overwhelm. And you make it easier to follow through, even on the days you don’t feel like it.

That’s how habits are created. And those habits shape your identity over time.

You become someone who is consistent, in control, and looking after her health without the constant struggle.

Start small. Keep it simple. Focus on consistency, not perfection.
If you’re ready to feel more organised and less overwhelmed with your nutrition, this is a great place to begin.

If you’re not strength training, can I ask you why?
Are you waiting until you feel fitter, lighter, less busy or less sore before you begin?
I’m 63. I’ve been over 100 kilos. I’ve managed back pain, knee surgery, shoulder issues, ankle sprains and a hip that occasionally protests on a simple walk. My digestion has a mind of its own some days.
I’m not perfect. I don’t have a flawless body or a stress-free life.
I’ve worked in supermarkets, banks, offices and classrooms. I run a household where things break, bills need paying and people need care. I support elderly parents navigating their own health challenges.
I’m a real woman with real responsibilities.
And I still strength train. I still meal plan. I still prioritise building muscle and protecting my health.
Because strength training for women over 50 isn’t about perfection. It’s about resilience. It’s about protecting your metabolism, your bones, your joints and your independence.
You don’t need extreme workouts. You don’t need hours in a gym. You don’t need to “start again on Monday”.
You need gradual implementation. A calm, regulated nervous system. Clear healthy habits that fit into your actual life. A simple meal plan and strength program you can follow at home safely.
That’s what I teach.
If you’re ready to build muscle, reduce body fat and feel strong and capable again, message me privately or comment below. Let’s put a realistic plan in place.

I spent years believing it was safer to stay quiet.
Do the right thing. Keep the peace. Don’t make waves.
Now I’m stepping into something very different.
This book is being published just in time for International Women’s Day on March 8th 2026, and I am incredibly honoured to be one of the authors alongside a powerful group of women.
For much of my life, I believed silence was strength. But I’ve learned that sharing our stories is what truly creates strength. When one woman speaks, another finds courage.
My chapter shares part of my journey from obesity and processed food addiction to becoming a Weight Loss and Strength Coach for women in midlife. Today, through Strong, Fit and Fabulous Women, I support hundreds of women to build muscle, lose weight sustainably, and regain confidence in their bodies.
True vitality is not about shrinking yourself. It’s about strength training, nourishing nutrition, quality sleep, managing stress and choosing yourself.
This book represents more than words on a page. It represents women using their voice.
If you’re ready to feel strong, capable and energised in midlife, I would love to support you.

When your body taps you on the shoulder… do you listen?
This week stretched me in all the best ways.
I was up early setting up for a trial podcast recording with my dear friend Michele. We recorded a few episodes and we’re edging closer to launch. It’s exciting — and there’s a lot to coordinate behind the scenes.
After that, I taught my strength class… and by the end of the day I felt unusually flat.
The next morning I noticed I didn’t feel like breakfast (very unlike me). I pushed on anyway. Mid-meeting, my body made it very clear I needed to stop.
So I did.
Back to bed. Tea. Early night. Light meals. Gentle care.
And today I woke up feeling vibrant again.
Sunshine through the front door. A long-awaited catch-up with a friend. A new power adaptor for my piano and music filling the house.
The reminder?
We can be strong, driven and building beautiful things… and still need rest.
Honouring your body isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom.
What signs has your body been giving you lately?
