Busy weekend for us this week!!!

On Friday 4th of March we are going to be at the Twilight Market in Long Beach Sandy Bay. From 4:30 pm to 9 pm

Saturday, 5th of Mach, find us at Harmony Market, in Lauradale from 10 am to 2pm.

Sunday, 6th of March, we are going to participate at the Bream Creek farmers market from 9 am to 2 pm

“While plenty of people have come out and supported the Taste, it’s clear that the COVID situation both on the mainland and in Tasmania has impacted attendance levels,” Mr Targett said.

“We wanted to ensure the Taste doesn’t slide off the calendar forever and we’ve done that. However, over the last couple of days, the softer numbers have had a real impact on stallholder revenue. We are doing everything we can to support them.

“We encourage Tasmanians to come to the Taste of Summer tomorrow and show their support for the 80 stallholders who are down here showcasing the best Tasmanian produce.

“Entry will be free all day and if you have bought a ticket for tomorrow’s event, you can collect a refund at the ticket booth. 

“We have a first class COVID-19 Safety Plan in place, 97 per cent of all seating is outdoors and anyone who has been to the event already will tell you it feels very spacious, relaxed and safe.”
