Below is my policy that occurs with all my orders.

Policy Regarding Deposits and Product Responsibility

This letter outlines the policies concerning deposits and product responsibility for all orders. Please review this information carefully to ensure a clear understanding of my terms.

Deposit Policy: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and secure your order. This deposit covers the starting cost of materials (your quote does not change unless you change the order then a revaluation will be done of the order) and the time allocated to your project. Due to the custom nature of our products, this deposit is non-refundable, even in the event of cancellation. The remaining amount can be paid up to the collection day anytime any amount but will need to be completed before the order will be handed over.

Product Responsibility: Once the product leaves our premises, our responsibility for its condition ceases. It is the client's responsibility to ensure proper handling, transportation, and storage. For perishable goods, such as those requiring refrigeration, it is imperative that the product be refrigerated and kept refrigerated until it is ready to be used. We are not liable for any damage or spoilage that occurs due to improper handling or storage once the product is in your possession. Unless requested all my cakes and cupcakes are made with Swiss meringue buttercream and will be hard at the time of pick up but will need to be refrigerated as soon as you get home or your destination. A cooler bag with ice bricks is recommended if travelling a fair distance to ensure your lovely orders arrive safe and sound.
