GMV Eats - Chi Way Restaurant (乾味) @ Burwood

Really good authentic Shanghainese food. It surpassed our family’s expectations in terms of taste and the quality. Couple of dishes we wanted to order were not available and the service was a bit lacking.

這家的上海餐廳還不錯吃。本來點了它們的招牌菜但都賣完，有點小失望。醉雞是用走地雞，肉很結實又入味。上海豬油菜飯跟四喜烤麩很搭配。

看起來份量還好，但足夠了。
如果封城就叫這家的外送好了。

Surprisingly delicious 😋
They did a good job with fusion Asian cuisine.

本以為今晚是來吃馬馬虎虎的外國人版的中國餐，沒想到全餐廳客滿，菜色味道雖不道地但很入味。它的翻版北京烤鴨我可以接受。

GMV Eats - Mr Fat Duck Peking Restaurant (京味軒) @ Chatswood

Craving for Peking roast duck 🦆 🦆 🦆
$85 per duck, served two ways and must pre-order in advance. I had high expectation based on the reviews. First course was delicious and the second course was a let down.

來吃京味軒的招牌菜「北京鴨兩吃」。這家的烤鴨外皮酥脆，鴨肉軟嫩入味。但第二吃是滿失敗的平凡炒麵。$85一隻烤鴨，現在還在考慮值嗎🤔🤔🤔

餐點種類相當多，我們也點了菊花魚(類似糖醋炸魚，甜甜的很下飯)。每道菜都很夠味，但有放味精，吃完口很渴。

會ㄉㄨㄞ˙ ㄉㄨㄞ˙的日本厚鬆餅！這厚鬆餅的口感綿密細緻又不會太甜。搭配鮮奶油和楓糖漿，再加上一球綠茶冰淇淋，真的是好好吃！

GMV Cooks - Sweet Japanese Curry 香濃日本咖哩🍛

In preparation of a national lock down 🔒 I cooked a pot of curry ready on standby.

新冠疫情將會打持續戰。封國政策即將上演。
先煮一鍋香濃日本咖哩後備一個月。但在自我隔離的狀況下，無聊沒事就只想吃吃喝喝，這鍋咖哩應該維持不到明天。。。

GMV Eats - Baby Coffee Co @ Waterloo

So it’s all about baby pink interiors and bottomless cocktails that hyped up this trending cafe. Clearly this is a popular weekend brunch spot to be... foodwise, very average.

2020第一次需要退餐的經驗。。。
廚房水準不夠，燒焦的食物也敢上盤上桌。
整體的餐點都做得很潦草，不夠專業。
蹭人氣，所以價格略高，但不值得。

The red and gold colour combination represents lucky colours in Asian culture, with red symbolising good fortune and happiness, and gold for good luck. The red dumpling dough is also made from all-natural vegetable ingredients.

The Good Fortune dumplings are filled with decadent wagyu beef and have a distinctive black truffle taste.

名為Good Fortune Dumplings的這款餃子，以極具喜慶的紅色為主調，灑上金葉作點綴，寓言紅包滾滾來，金銀灑滿屋。每粒飽滿的餃子內，填滿了精緻和牛肉餡及高級黑松露，可說是由內涵至外觀，皆貴氣奪目，惹味吸引。

紅包餃子當然是為了慶祝農曆新年而設，供應期由1月23日至2月9日止，一籠五粒售$21.60。另備沒有灑上金箔的平民版，五粒售$16.80。
