A V8 supercar cake for my super dad's birthday. The logos on this V8 commodore represent important parts of his life - jobs, hobbies (Suzuki club & Ulysses), cars & bikes he's owned, and of course his volunteer life which includes Marine Rescue, the Olympic Games, and of course the V8's. The car was sitting on a rotating turntable on top of a large fondant-covered chocolate cake and was completely edible, although if you even touch that car you'll have to deal with him! Happy birthday dad :)

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to let the creative juices flow with fondant but this cake was certainly the one! Edible Elvis, his albums, & the film strips. Since the birthday girl didn’t want her age on the cake, I put it in code - the two front albums were released in the year she was born! Happy birthday Nicole. You’re reaction was better than I could have ever imagined 😂

My daughter is a die-hard Woolies mud cake fan but I couldn't present that is without some hacks. Step 1: Buy cake. Step 2: Remove decorations. Step 3: smother with ganache. Step 4: Add lots of fun. Happy birthday Steph :)

It's been a while but it's time to show a few cakes again so watch this space over the next few weeks! We'll kick off with a cake from last weekend. A giant Ferrero Rocher - choc cake layered with chocolate and hazelnut ganache, a chewy, nutty ganache centre. Smothered with choc ganache, nuts, and finished in crunchy milk chocolate. The birthday boy wasn't disappointed. Happy birthday Vic :)

Happy Australia Day!🇦🇺 Ok - so this was really a birthday cake for a client but you have to admit, it fits the bill for many Aussies! Hope the birthday gig went well. Edible glass shot glasses with tinted edible glass for the Jack Daniels liquid, topping a chocolate cake, honeycomb buttercream, & of course chocolate drips 😊

Can’t believe my little granddaughter is now 4! After choosing a different cake every week for months she finally chose something very simple - the request was lots of pink dots & a mermaid! Happy 4th birthday Kelsey 🎉

Today I had the best time - I had the privilege of doing some cupcake decorating with some 3-5 yr olds at a local preschool. I'm sure you'll agree we have some up and coming talent 😊
