To every mum, family, and all the first-time and returning OMG'ers, and every loyal donut lover who lined up with us this Mother's Day — THANK YOU.

We honestly haven't seen a queue like that in a WHILE, and it doesn't surprise us since The Orchard Penrith was such a vibe with the markets, music, restaurants (and a bar 😉 ). It made us feel like we're doing something right.

Hey OMG Fans!
We owe you an apology. If you came looking for your hot, fresh donut fix last weekend, you might have noticed our lights were out. 🔌💨

Unfortunately, a generator failure took us offline, and we were unable to get the fryers moving. We hate missing a chance to see your smiling faces, and we’re so sorry for the disappointment!

🗓️ Looking Ahead: ANZAC Day
Just a heads-up that we will be closed this Saturday, April 25th, for ANZAC Day. We’ll be taking the day to reflect and honor our service men and women. We'll see you back and ready to go on Saturday May 2nd.

Community Spotlight: Living with a Nut Allergy 🥜💛

Imagine being the kid at the birthday party who can't have the cake. 🎂
Or the one at the school fete scanning every label while everyone else is already halfway through their treat. 😔

Or the parent who has to call ahead, read every ingredient list, and still feel that knot of anxiety in their stomach — just to get a snack at a market stall.
For the 1 in 50 Australians living with a nut allergy, this isn't dramatic. It's just Tuesday.

The things most of us take for granted — grabbing something sweet on a whim, saying yes when someone offers you a treat, just eating without thinking — can feel completely out of reach.

⌛ How long does it take to cook a batch of OMG's decadent donuts? ⌛

There's 3 key steps:

1. Mix the dough – this part can get messy if we're not careful (hand up if you've accidentally turned a mixer or blender on full blast before 🤐) – we mix for 1 minute and 40 seconds exactly!

2. Drop the donuts and cook each side for... 1 minute and 40 seconds each! Seems like a magic number, no?

3. Let them cool and add sugars – about 10 seconds per donut. Trust the process!

Overall.. about 6 to 8 minutes!

So next time you're in a rush, you know exactly how long since you're probably stopping by anyway 😉
