I went through a huge teacup phase several years ago. I inherited a few, was gifted a beautiful set for my wedding and picked up some quirky ones along the way. Naturally I was very happy making these Wedgwood inspired teacups and teapots for a lovely lady’s birthday celebration.

SPECIAL OFFER - I had the sweetest request yesterday. A client asked to buy individual flower cookies rather than the box set or jar I currently have on offer, so that she can hand them out to her mum friends at school. Because walking around with actual flowers was a bit too much for school pick up! I LOVE this idea, because there’ll be a bunch of unexpecting women that will feel appreciated in a few days! If you’d also like to do this, then I’m offering individual cookies to you too. The smaller size are $5 each, the regular size are $7 each, individually wrapped with a jute florist ribbon.
You must get in touch asap though, as we only have a few days left!

This mixer, my trusty Kenwood, was my gift for Mother’s Day 7 years ago. When my cookie business had just started growing. Since then, I’ve used it over and over and over and it’s never missed a beat. So when I use it for Mother’s Day cookie dough, and Mother’s Day royal icing, I feel like it’s appropriately fulfilling its purpose! Any other Kenwood fans out there? If not Kenwood, what mixer are you using? (and whyyy not Kenwood?!)

I think Geoff is a bit of a cool cat, at 80, to be known for his DJing. I connected instantly with this order, as my dad is also a cool cat, with a strong history as a DJ. I hope the music at this party was great 😆

Why does putting a stick on the back of a cookie and adding a bow, make it so darn cute?! I have a big batch of these available RIGHT NOW for $7 each. They make an excellent end of term gift for the kids and their school friends (my inspiration actually), AND their teachers!

Calling all Curly hair people! This Sunday 29th March, Curly Life Australia is doing a pop up at The Curl Lab in Surry Hills, Sydney. Curly Life Australia is a Gold Coast based, curly hair care specialist store which stocks loads of brands, and they actually help you choose the right products for your specific hair and needs, so you don’t have to guess and try to figure it out yourself (like most of us do). They even have a Curly Hair head spa! They deliver Australia wide, and this Sunday they are coming to Sydney!
Oh and there will be cookies there 😆

Edit: the kits are SOLD OUT. As mentioned prior, I can order more palettes if the demand is there.

Wow. I’m almost sold out of the Paint Your Own cookie kits. There are only a few paint palettes left. I’ll happily order more if the demand is there. Last year I was selling packs of 3 for $20. This year? $12. How? The cookies are slightly smaller, the packaging more cost effective, and because I want to. For the kids.

I don’t make the palettes myself, so I do need time to order and receive them in the post. If you think your child would love one of these this year, reach out to me.

I’ve told my kids not to expect much chocolate for Easter this year. And they are surprisingly ok with it! Because there are so many others things we can eat, or make, and enjoy.
I’m prepping Easter samples over here, keep an eye out as I’ll be posting the options tomorrow!

Hearts.
Representing the hearts behind the Hornsby Kuringgai Women’s Shelter, who held their annual International Woman’s Day lunch last week. Hearts, for all hard work they do to support, raise awareness, and prevent abuse in our local communities. Hearts, to say thank you, for keeping our women safe.

Branding - some people choose to put their brand on a pen, or a notepad. But I’ll put it on a cookie! I was honoured when The Village Chef by Meals on Wheels asked me to create some logo cookies for a group of their volunteers. I think I spent a good thirty minutes getting the right shade of yellow/mustard/gold/egg yolk, to match their brand colours. Colour matching is very important to me!

I remember making something like a hundred Santas one year. All lined up, decorating section by section. He must’ve brought smiles to so many kids faces that year.
These ones are $7.50 each, come individually wrapped and tied with ribbon.

It’s Gingerbread time! Fact - all of last years’ gingerbread buyers came back for more. Why? Because it’s DELICIOUS.
I don’t feel they need a thick coating of icing, so this year the icing is simple, which allows the warm spices to really shine. With 12 gingerbread cookies in a jar for $40, this gift is truly lovely.
