I’m Back!!
I got the all clear from my surgeon and here I am.
Firstly, a big thank you to everyone who reached out, commented or checked in. I really appreciate it ❤️
Today is the first day of a new venture.
The past few years I’ve wanted to put a pop up self serve bakery outside on a Saturday morning for everyone to come down and buy some sweets and bread to enjoy with family and friends. When I was recovering Tony (Mr Cookie Star) and I thought….bugger it let’s give it a go!
What I’ve learnt when you go through a serious health condition the way you look at life changes and it can lead you in other directions and this is where we ended up and I think it’s pretty cool.
We both turned this old wardrobe into The Bakery Shed.
We sanded, painted, wall papered, hammered, drilled, nailed…you name it we did it!
I even made the sign lettering, draw pulls and washers on our 3D printer.
We used recycled roofing and many bits and pieces we had laying around home. She’s not perfect but we are very happy with it.
OPENING this Saturday, 13th June 8am
