Mew and Jigglypuff were the absolute stars of the show on this Pokémon-themed cake! All fondant finish and entirely hand made decorations, including the adorable custom figurine toppers. Inside was kept classic, delicious and safe for everyone: a crowd-pleasing (and nut-free) vanilla bean sponge layered with fluffy vanilla butter cream filling. You know it's going to be a memorable 60th birthday cake when it brings together all your favourite things-
The brief: Tooheys New, Wests Tigers, golf and horseracing- and this bespoke design delivered it all. A fondant finish featuring an edible Tigers image, handcrafted fondant golf bag, horseracing silhouettes and a real Tooheys New can as the final touch. Inside was a delicately spiced carrot cake (my mum's delicious recipe) with smooth vanilla butter cream, completing this personalised celebration piece. I had so much fun bringing this one to life- fondant finish, custom edible band logos, and every little detail hand made with love.
