To all our valuable clients and PIE LOVERS, regrettably after 16 years in the Fresh Food Dome at the SYDNEY ROYAL EASTER SHOW, we will not be in our USUAL LOCATION.
This decision was not ours, and we had already planned some wonderful new flavours, we were also looking forward to celebrating what would be our 20 year involvement with the show.
We would like to thank everyone for their continual support over the years.
For a small country NSW business, and now Sydney based bakery in producing an award winning Aussie Icon.
As disappointed as we are, NEVER SAY NEVER.

About Us

Since 1990, Mick’s pies have grown to become one of the most recognised baking brands throughout the Australian baking industry. We have produced, innovated and created some of the best bakery products in Australia for over 29 years and continue to work closely with clientele to produce innovative products to suit current trends and its consumers.

The original brand, Mick’s Bakehouse, was created by Michael Di Salvatore who, at the age of fourteen, started helping out in the bakery at his parent’s supermarket in Leeton, a country town in regional New South Wales, where his passion for baking quickly developed.

Almost 30 years on, Mick is now the most distinguished competitor in Australia’s most prestigious bakery competitions. His winning streak since being awarded Champion Pie at Sydney Royal Fine Food Show in 1998 is second to none. Michael now holds various accolades in both the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show and The Great Aussie Pie Competition, where the Mick’s brand has won the most gold medals. Michael is currently an honorary judge of The Great Aussie Pie Competition since 2012.
