We often get asked if we do mixed kuih platters for catering, so here’s a little clarification!

For catering orders, minimum quantities apply to each kuih type on our catering menu, which means we’re unable to offer mixed platters for these orders. But if you’d love a platter with a little bit of everything, there’s another way! 😉

When we open our weekly kuih orders, you can purchase individual pieces from our specially curated menu and put together your very own assortment. Just like this beautiful party platter we prepared for a customer yesterday, who picked her favourites from our menu and had them arranged together for her gathering.

And guess what? Our assorted kuihs are back again next weekend, Saturday, 24 October! This time, we’ll be heading to Hills Showground, with Chatswood pick ups available as well!

Preorders open tomorrow, Monday 19 October, at 6pm on our website. Mark your calendars and set those reminders! We can’t wait to share our little boxes of kuih with you again.

It’s been a while…
We’ve been keeping busy with catering orders behind the scenes, and also taking some much needed time to slow down and enjoy the school holidays with our family.

Now, we’re happy to say that we’re finally back with our assorted kuihs this Saturday, 17 October! We’ve missed sharing our little boxes of kuih with you and can’t wait to be back at it again.

Hope everyone is having a great week so far. Just wanted to jump on here to say hi 👋! It’s been a bit quiet around here as we’ve been wrapped up in catering orders like this one that we did for a little girl’s birthday celebrations last weekend. We’re on a little break with our kuih boxes for now as we finish up September with our outstanding orders and as we head into school holidays. If we do manage to find some capacity to do a weekday drop soon, we’ll be sure to put the word out here.

In the meantime, we’re still here so if you do have any order enquiries or just want to have a chat, pls drop us a note anytime. Have a great rest of the week ahead!

A little kuih drop in between our catering orders

This Saturday, 19 September, we’re putting together a 6 piece Kuih Box, with:

2pcs Pandan Kuih Talam
2pcs Kuih Ubi Kayu

We’ll also have our Cheng Tng, the classic 8 Treasure Sweet Soup.

Hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and a good start to the week so far! Dropping a note here to mention that we won’t have any assorted kuih boxes this coming weekend. We are starting to ramp up on fulfilling our catering orders for September so there will be fewer assorted boxes on weekends for the rest of the month. We might attempt a weekday drop in a city if anyone might be keen. Leave us a comment for which day you’d prefer to see us!

One from the weekend… a custom tray of Kuih Lapis in the prettiest pastel rainbow colours! 🌈

If you’re thinking about placing a catering order and wondering how much notice we need, we usually ask for at least 72 hours’ notice. That said, we do recommend reaching out early to secure your date, especially for weekends as our capacity is limited.

In fact, we’re already fully booked for 27 September and have very limited capacity left for 26 September.

So if you’re thinking about an order, just drop us a message and we can take it from there! 😊

Just a little note: we don’t offer mixed platters under our catering menu, but we’ll explain more about that in another post.

And don’t forget to place your orders for this Saturday! We’ve got our Pick Your Own kuihs available for pickup at Chatswood or Town Hall. Preorders are now open on our website.

Kuihs are back this Saturday, 5 September!

We’re celebrating the first weekend of spring with an early Father’s Day edition and we’ve got 8 different kuih options, or 9 if you count the two Ang Ku fillings!

Perfect for sharing with Dad, the family, or simply because it’s Saturday and you deserve some kuih. 😆

A little note for if you’re planning to pick up from Chatswood.
Chatswood is hosting the Emerge Festival this Saturday, so please allow a little extra time for traffic and parking.

If you’re driving in via the Pacific Highway, please note that Albert Lane is now closed. You can access Thomas Street via Victoria Avenue → Katherine Street, or turn directly into Thomas Street if you’re coming off the highway.

A little comeback we’ve been waiting for… MUAH CHEE!

We’re serving it yin-yang style — half tossed in white sesame, half in black sesame. Soft, chewy and coated in that fragrant, nutty sesame goodness.
