Long before there were chocolate eggs, bunnies or the Woolies pavilion, there was Jesus. Here is a little something I've been working on this week to celebrate the first Easter. They are hand-painted vanilla sugar cookies with royal icing and they are delicious. I know this because I ate all the ugly ones.
