***Our Community Pantry Update - Please Share This Post With Your Family & Friends***
Management would like to acknowledge and thank all of our members and supporters for their patience this year. We are aware that many questions have been asked about when Our Community Pantry would be starting up again for 2022. Due to the difficulties of the last two years, in particular with the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had a much-needed extended break.
As you would appreciate, recent events including the pandemic, floods and rising fuel prices have all impacted the supply of food. Even more so for Our Community Pantry, it has affected the food available at suppliers we rely upon such as Foodbank and Second Bite.
As a result, we have used the break to look to change our model, where we can still be able to provide a food rescue service, but in a manner that ensures sustainability.
We will advise further as we clarify what we can do to ensure we continue the work of Our Community Pantry but in a different model.
We would like to thank all of our members and supporters for your continued patience.

Mount Annan & Surrounds Families, tonight is your Christmas Hamper Collection!!!! 🎅🏻🤶🎄🎁❤️ Due to the size of tonight's order as well as the heat we will be starting our collection tonight at 7pm.

We are also able to announce that we have just confirmed that we have two very special guests coming to help us tonight!

Mums and dads, you are welcome to bring your phone/cameras and get free photos with our special guests who will be walking through the car park and distributing goodies we have prepared for the kids.

The team are madly packing to get all orders on the truck for tonight's collection. We ask if you are coming tonight to collect your Christmas Hampers, please clear and make room in your vehicle as each Christmas Hamper tonight consist's of 7-8 milk crates of food! Clear and open spaces will mean we can load vehicles quicker and keep the line moving along.

We also have our trolley giveaway, everybody who has ordered a Christmas Hamper goes into our raffle tonight to go home with even more groceries tonight!

To those who have messaged to order a Hamper, I am sorry if I have not replied as yet, we have been absolutely inundated with enquiries and the logistics of preparing Hampers for all of our sites, unfortunately we have sold out and do not have the capacity to create any more Christmas Hampers.

And today it begins....the crew start packing our 320 Christmas Hampers that have been snapped up in less than a week!

We were saving this one as a SPECIAL surprise. Check this out, we have accumulated several trolleys of groceries and household items, enough for one trolley per site. One member per site will be heading home with so much more than they thought they were coming to collect! 😲🎄🎁

This means that one member from our Bargo collection, one from Goulburn, one from Moss Vale and one from Mount Annan will all be heading home with lots of extra goodies....

This year's Christmas Hampers are HUGE, they will be packed over 8-10 bags in 6 milk crates. We keep the crates, you take the bags, please make sure you clear out your boots and back seats when coming to collect your Christmas Hampers.

We launched our Christmas Hampers this morning and never expected the response we have had - 80% have been allocated already, we only have 60 Christmas Hampers remaining...and they will book out quickly. If you were thinking abut securing a Hamper, do not put it off as they will not last, once we have reached out number of 300 hampers, we are not producing anymore.

Here it is, finally, we can reveal what exactly is in this year’s Christmas Hamper…hope you are ready for this one.

Before the breakdown, we know there are going to be a few questions, so here are a few details you need to know;
- There will be a limited number of Christmas Hampers made available, we cannot produce any more than 300 Christmas Hampers
- These Hampers will go quickly - 140 Christmas Hampers have already been reserved, if you are interested, secure your Christmas Hamper now
- Hampers can be ordered through our OCP app, you can also call Paula on 0402 406 492 to secure your Christmas hamper
- As this is a special promotion, you cannot use your loyalty points to redeem the Christmas Hamper
- Christmas Hampers are available to members for $80 and non-members for $88
- Yes, you can order more than one Christmas Hamper!
- Yes, you can collect Christmas Hampers for other members
- All collection times will be extended for collections so you can stagger your arrival
- Collection Dates – Bargo December 17, Goulburn December 18, Moss Vale December 21, Mount Annan December 22 and Liverpool December 16, 20, 22 and 23 (more details will be released over the next few days)
- The OCP team will be having a much-needed break from December 23, our reopen dates have not yet been confirmed, we have included so many extra items this year to help our families during the few weeks the team are having off to rest and recover from the year.
