One of my favourite things about cake design is that there’s always something new to learn.

This cake was created after learning beautiful texture techniques through a masterclass held through the and Monica Cavallaro from .cakes, and I absolutely fell in love with creating this soft wafer paper bow detail.

Learning new skills opens the door to so many creative design possibilities — and I’m so excited to bring more textured, statement-style cakes into future creations.

This custom cake for Zane was created for a big Parramatta Eels fan, featuring fondant jersey and football topper, finished with bright buttercream details and drip.
