It is with very heavy hearts we want to let our wonderful customers know that our lease has come to an end and we have made the difficult decision to close our doors permanently.

Like so many small businesses, the current economic climate and the extreme rise in costs from every direction has made it impossible for us to continue making a living doing what we love.

This decision has not come easily. Over the past 4 ½ years, this little business has been so much more than just a workplace to us. It has been filled with laughter, daily banter, familiar faces, kindness, support, and genuine friendships that we will carry with us forever.

To every single person who has walked through our doors, bought a coffee, shared a conversation, supported us during the hard times, recommended us to others, or simply kept showing up — thank you. Your support has meant more than words can truly express.

We will be trading as usual over the weekend, with Monday being our final day of normal trading before we close our doors for the very last time.

We would love to see as many of you as possible over these final few days so we can thank you in person.

From the bottom of our hearts — thank you for being part of our journey. We will miss you all dearly. 🤍

Today, we pause to remember and honour the courage, sacrifice, and mateship of all who have served and continue to serve.

This ANZAC Day, we reflect on the legacy that has shaped our community and our country — and we thank those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

We’re open today 9am-3pm for those gathering with family and friends. Lest we forget. 🌺

Stirling Bakery is looking for a mature, fun and reliable barista / all-rounder to join our team 2-3 days per week. Any barista, cafe or bakery experience is preferred. Uni students available for weekends and a 1-2 weekdays encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & experience
Barista experience preferred and food safety supervisor qualifications will be required.

Tasks & responsibilities
High level customer service skills, coffee machine, food prep, light baking, cleaning
