I don’t post a lot on here because the truth is, I don’t always feel like what I have to show can compete with what I see when I scroll through my socials.
But then I remember,I’m not here to compete. I’m not here to make an income my family need to live on.
I’m here because it’s an opportunity for me to create, calm my mind and it gives me so much joy to see my creations being played with by little hands.
I love little people and I love play.
Together they are powerful!
Recently at a birthday party, I watched a little girl become upset. Not because she wanted another piece of cake, or to stay longer, and it wasn’t because she wanted to play with the presents purchased from big retailers. She was upset purely because she wanted a fairy garden exactly like the one I had made and given her friend 🥹
These photos aren’t enhanced, the kitchen bench isn’t sparkling clean, the letter s is slightly imperfect, those flowers desperately need more water in the jar and I’ve just spotted extra frogs because my little helpers must have been a bit too frog happy!
However, this photo shows a personalized gift that was made with love. A gift that was hand delivered less than 24 hours after it was ordered. A gift that a little girl so desperately wanted and is going be so happy to receive. A gift that will be played with in many different ways for many, many hours.
