Things I didn't expect when starting Kaz Bake….😍

🤗I found my community!

❤️All you beautiful people would come into my world!

💃Baking is so much better with music playing!

👩‍🍳 I would find a baking community who are so supportive!

🤩This ultimately led me to discover Maggie Maggie | Adelaide Bakes and it has been absolutely life-changing!

Maggie runs a mentor group called "Her Business Room". It is a wonderful group of supportive women, who run baking industry businesses! I am so grateful to be part of this community!🙏❤️

One of my favourite quotes by Maya Angelou - “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel".❤️

Thank you for being in my world, thank you for your support, thank you for making this girl feel the love!🙏💃

Things that held me back starting my business…🤩

👩‍🍳Thinking I needed someone else's permission, when the only permission I needed was mine!
Remembering - My business, my rules. 🙌

❤️ Belief and confidence in myself.

👍Having to define exactly what the business should be.

🧁That there's only one type of baking business.🎂

All the stories I told myself. Which were not helpful and are not even true!🤷🏻‍♀️

What I've learnt since, is exactly the opposite of all these things.🥰

Still working on each one, rewiring my brain to see things differently!🧐

To start my business I just had to rip the band aid off and go for it. 🙌 Even now, I'm still learning, growing and changing my path. Which makes it so exciting! A business that grows with me is a beautiful thing.😍

Each day working towards creating a life for us that we want.💃🙌❤️

Let me catch you up…🤩

We moved out of Sydney a few months ago, to the beautiful Lake Macquarie!😍

We decided we wanted a change of pace and lifestyle! The move has definitely delivered on that!😊

Since selling our home, we've moved house twice…😁

It's been an interesting few months, with plenty of aha or oops moments!😂

As we knew we would be moving around a bit, we haven’t unpacked everything. So we have lost count on how many times we have both asked have you seen X? Where the answer will be “it is in a tub!” There are a lot of tubs!😳

We’ve realised we put a few things in storage we needed..🥴

And the same can be said, we kept things with us that could have gone to storage..😁

With the next move (yep thats 3 moves!) in just over 2 weeks! We will be moving into our little house we have bought! So excited!! Bring it on!! 🏡 🎉

There's nothing like that feeling of letting the creativity flow.. 😍

With each placement of a beautiful edible bloom and vibrant raspberry on the floating marscapone cloud, it created a beautiful meadow, so easy on the eye!🥰💐
