Creation Cakes

Fresh lemon was the brief, with texture. This one was created using artificial flowers, and my first handmade cake topper, with fresh lemon added on the day. Bottom layer is my chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache and cherry jam, the top layer is lemon poppy seed cake with white chocolate ganache. Covered in Swiss meringue buttercream.

A second topper was added for later in the party to celebrate their engagement!

This one was fun! I used rice paper to make the sails on this cake. It was inspired by the hot pink and orange balloon tower that was ordered for the venue. Meringues and macarons.

Got to make this beauty this week for family. Green, jungle and tiger were the ideas from the birthday boy. To say I'm chuffed with the tiger and bird made from modelling chocolate, and the waterfall and rocks also from MC, and leaves made from fondant, is an understatement.
