Our first announcement for the year should have said ‘we missed you and we'll see you
Saturday 4th February’. Instead, after months of trying to renew our lease our landlord has now confirmed he does not wish to renew said lease.
Most would have heard our newly approved liquor license was to be the start of The
Smythesdale Local Sunday session, offering pizzas, grazing platters and tasty drinks to
accompany the already fun vibes, an event and community space and midweek dinner
offerings.
Sadly, we must very unexpectedly say goodbye, when we are only just getting started.
It's been an absolute pleasure getting to know you all over the past 18 months. Week on week
we were so touched and blown away by the outward support from all who gave us a go. To all the Locals and those who traveled to visit regularly, we cannot thank you enough
