Hey Lifers!🍻
As you’re probably aware we haven’t published an episode for a while. Although we tried to get around doing remote episodes, the timing just wasn’t there. With Sam and Ryley and the kids and Jacko moving to Melbourne, it just wasn’t feasible to do it anymore. We felt if we continued we would be “putting it on” and it would feel forced compared to when we first started and just sat around and had beers and laughed for hours on end. So unfortunately we won’t be posting anymore actual podcast episodes.
We can’t thank you all enough for all the support we’ve received. We love each and every single one of you whether you’ve listened for 1 minute or 100 hours of the show, we can’t be more grateful for what we’ve created and we are walking away super proud and who knows what the future holds.
One last thing.. a big shout out to Geoff and his wife Luci from Bloody Good Jerky. They have been there since day 1 and they are the best people we have ever come across, they have shown so much love and support for the show, so make sure too keep buying their Jerky!

Bringing a bit of everything to today’s (Sat 30th) Handmade in the Hunter Markets😁

Still some ‘Hot Stuff,’ ‘Sweet Stuff’ bags left from last market and this weekend’s Limited Batch is ‘JERK-cOFFee.’ 🐮☕️

Rather than gambling on if market was going ahead due to weather this weekend. Made the call and decided to take a jackhammer to the bathroom floor instead. FAFO time to see what I’m dealing with. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Starting the day with 12 Jerky flavours to taste & buy at today’s (Sat) Handmade in the Hunter Markets 😳

‘Sweet Stuff’ - A mellow BBQ Fruit Chutney blend (no heat)
‘Hot Stuff’ - Tomato Chutney & Habanero (medium heat)

Plus we’ve all our usuals including ‘Last Rites’ 🔥🌶️😵

Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mums, soon to be Mum’s and the one’s who have stepped up to the role. It’s a job with no knockoff time, not enough pay and not nearly enough recognition for the effort put in. 😅
We don’t always show it, but we appreciate you and all that you do. Thankyou for everything! Hope you’re feeling loved and spoiled! 🥰

All set for Handmade in the Hunter Markets this Saturday for their Mother’s Day Market. Sobel’s Wines 9am-2pm.

I’m bringing back the heat this weekend with our ‘Last Rites’ for those brave enough. 🔥🌶️😵 For all the sensible people I’ve got plenty of other flavours to choose from, so come visit, try some of the best jerky in Australia and grab something for your Mum while you’re here! 😉

Thanks for all those that came out on Sunday to see us at Handmade in the Hunter Markets it was a cracker of a day!

We had 2 new additions to the stall on the weekend. The first is my daughter Ivy, she’s decided she wants to hang out with her dear old Dad and learn the ropes (and earn some $$). Ivy was kept busy and had a great day, even reckons she’ll be back to do it again. 😁👍🏻

The second is this awesome custom sculpture made for us by Jimbo Green for our market bench. I’ll be doing another post with some better pics later in the week as this one doesn’t do it justice (he sparkles in direct light).
