This year marks one whole year of building side by side, and I couldn’t be proud of how far we’ve come.
I always knew what I wanted this business to be, but anyone who’s ever worked with a business partner knows they give you that gentle push… sometimes a full nudge off the cliff 😅 the kind you need to grow. None of this would have been possible without it.
In the past year we’ve seen personal growth, business growth, and created some pretty big-deal cakes, celebrating personal milestones, once-in-a-lifetime moments, and everything in between.
We shone a light on our own business with , cutting cake on the steps of Parliament (still wild 🤯), and had the honour of celebrating other small businesses who’ve been operating for 20+ years.
And somehow… we ticked every single business goal we set for the year.
To our amazing clients, we thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your special occasions, your celebrations, your milestones, your cake toppers and cookie cutters. None of this happens without you, and we never take that for granted 💖
As proud as we are, it’s also time to say goodbye to as we step into a new chapter, with a new name, a new look, and most importantly a new cake sister and business partner.
Growth in 2025 meant improving what we do and how we do it, better processes, more availability, easier ordering, less stress, and making our cakes more accessible while continuing to grow.
We found those same values in our cake bestie Colleen, and that’s how was formed, a shared love for incredible service, beautiful cakes, and doing things properly.
