A fun cake to create, for a beautiful couple who tied the knot on Saturday. Being mad-keen AFL fans, they asked if they could have their favourite team jerseys included with the figurines. I forgot to take a photo of their fav players numbers on the back! 🙄
Cake flavour was two tiers of marble mud, layered with both dark and white ganache and iced with swiss meringue buttercream. ❤

Cake for a huge Melanie Martinez fan, celebrating her 18th birthday today. When her lovely mum Paula requested this theme, I had to Google who the artist was.....I'm more of an 80's gal! 😆
Cake flavour was white chocolate mud, with dark chocolate ganache layers and smothered in swiss meringue buttercream.
Edible image, hand-drawn wafer butterflies and little fondant accents made by me! So much fun putting this creation together. ❤

Wishing everyone a very Happy Easter.....

Yesterdays cake was for the cutest 7 year old, celebrating his birthday with family. I have done many cakes for this beautiful family over the past eight years, or so. I think this one is number 17, I have lost count. 😱
Cake flavour was plain, chocolate cake with buttercream layers and dark chocolate ganache under the fondant. Letters and number were hand-cut and the butterfly has very significant meaning to the family and will always be included with each order.. ❤❤

Cake was dark chocolate mud, with dark chocolate ganache layers.
Achieving the teal blue colour for the fondant took close on 3 hours of kneading and almost a bottle of colouring...boy, what a workout!
