Sweet Minnie Mouse cupcakes for a special little birthday girly! 💗 When our lovely customer sent through the inspo photos, I knew it was going to be a fun time all round creating these custom cuppys.
I don't love fondant due to the taste, these were too fun to pass up though! Although i can see the flaws in my design, I love the overall result!

I learnt a few valuable tips for next time and I guess my imperfections will keep the Ai markers away...😉😂🧁✨️

Would you be bothered by the lil flaws? Let me know below...

Loved creating this colour and style! If you're after a custom cake made with quality ingredients all from scratch...I AM YOUR BAKER. 🎂🧁✨️
All it takes is a message with what you're after, a few questions and I'll take it from there!

I still have availability over October, gratitude for September being full of beautiful birthday orders.

I still have room to improve on my media presence but we will get there hehe.
Thank you so much for the wonderful opportunities to make your gatherings extra Reka this year TreatLovers! 🙏🏾💯

Are you even human if you haven't failed before??

Hey Treatlovers! Take a leaf out of my book...

🎂😱🚮😅 you're probably thinking why didn't you just use baking paper!?

Well...This is your reminder from your friendly neighbourhood baker 😆 to take a breath, take a break & do not rush the process. Even if your 30minute bake turned into 3 hours. Or else this might be you, mucking up a process you can do with your eyes shut haha.

I personally use a home made bake goop rather than baking paper. With the correct amount, the results are simply perfect.

Have your baked goods ever got stuck to your pans??

NZ Cookie-times were an absolute FAVE growing up!
Theres so many cookie recipes,
goodness the overwhelm is real!

BUT look no further, if you want that NZ Aotearoa COOKIE-TIME flava, no teka, this is the recipe i use.

🗝🫱🏻‍🫲🏾 - Keys to cracking this recipe -
• Measuring...To get correct measurements, spoon your flour into your cup rather than scooping and over-packing...digital scales are best.
• Chill that dough...It doesn't have to be overnight like most cookie recipes, but enough to make the dough balls hard to touch.l without denting..roughly 1.5-2hrs for me.

🍪 FULL RECIPE IN COMMENTS SECTION! 🍪

• RECIPE •

Butter 225g
3/4C sugar 150g
3/4C brown sugar 110g
1tsp vanilla
2 eggs 90g
2 1/2C flour 385g
1/2tsp Salt
1tsp Baking Powder
1C Chocolate 400g Dark&Milk choc for the O.G Cookie-time mix!

💁🏽‍♀️🧁 Change of schedule on the mixed Treat boxes so we're moving with the flow and postponed for next week! In the meantime make our take on a delicious iconic NZ bickie! 🤎💯
