Hi cake fam, I have a big and difficult announcement to make that I have been putting off. I have made the difficult decision to cease trading as of end of September. It makes me very sad just to write this but it’s the best decision for me and my family in this season of my life.
Caking is a labour of love and it has taken time away from me and my little family. I absolutely loved every minute it while it lasted and I loved making cakes to celebrate important milestones and truly appreciate every single order I’ve received. A BIG THANK YOU to all my customers especially my loyal ones who have supported me from the very start. I recall being so worried about getting orders when I started the business and little did I know that the orders will come and I will get SO BUSY that I’d have to turn around and make this difficult decision.
This decision feels right for me and my family in this moment and I’m looking forward to having more down time doing the other things I love like reading, running and travelling. I am also looking forward to making cakes and desserts for family and friends for pleasure and soaking up the joy that comes with it. I am also looking forward to being a more present mother, wife, sister and friend and making memories with my precious 3 (soon to be 4) year old who’s growing up so quick!
Thank you for reading if you got this far. I have so much gratitude for each and every one of you who have supported me and my passion. I’m sure one day, when the time is right, I will be straight back into it…. 😊
