When one roller door closes,
Another will open!

I am sorry to all those who missed their daily fix with Wildflour this week, and that I won’t be seeing your friendly faces weekly. I will miss all of it!

But though the shop has closed, I am still fully caking behind closed doors, I am afraid orders are only possible now via my website or email further enquires to [email protected].

As I am now fully caking as a solo ninja, further notice will be required for orders and availability will be limited, as will collection times. Please keep an eye on the website for such detail or notifications.

Please bare with me while I get a hang of the new normal whilst balancing other ventures 🙏😌

We look forward to seeing you all for the last week of morning banter, coffee break sweetness and afternoon tea satisfaction 🥲💛

Seasons remind us,
Change is a beautiful inevitability we must accept, adapt to and embrace.

There is a time when all journeys must change course .. and with that Wildflour bakery will be closing its roller door for the last time on the 26th October.

As sad as we will be not to see our smiley regulars and serve sweetness with your daily brew, times have changed and with it so must we. This is not the end but a beginning of new things, the bakery may be closing but cakes will continue.*

Wildflour has been an outlet for me to share my love for nostalgic bakes and fancy cakes, and has received so much more warmth than I could have imagined. I look forward to continuing this buttercream path, celebrating occasions with more flamboyant sponges and painted florals.

There is a lot of thanks to be given, but for now we just wish to spend the next few weeks flying on a sugar high.

See you all next week 🙏💛🎂

* Fear not, all cake orders are securely locked in and as planned. But from the 26th of October any further orders will be placed online only via the website.

RU OK

A question we should ask more often than not! No matter how small the gesture, checking in can save lives.

We have mini red velvets available in-store only, which could be left on a desk or offered with a cuppa to let someone know you’re thinking about them.

Rhubarb n’ Custard milk buns

Pillowy milk buns nestled with vanilla custard & orange-poached rhubarb, bursting with fruity sunshine like Melbourne today ☀️

I love to preserve a season of fruit in jams and poaching methods, making it possible to savour them in the colder months.

Ciao Bella

Tiramisu, also known as ‘Tuscan Trifle’, never fails to put a smile on a face. So presenting Wildflour’s Hazelnut Tiramisu cake, your perfect mid week pick-me-up 🙌🏻

A soft-crumbed hazelnut and coffee cake, soaked in a delightfully rich syrup topped with a whipped vanilla cream mascarpone, chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream , dark chocolate shards, finished with velvety dark chocolate cocoa.

Booze free, but would pair well with a digestivo of your choice.

Inspired by nostalgic trips to Tuscany, where Nonna’s dessert had no competition!

Raspberry Amaretti

The delightfully soft, sweet and chewy almond biscuit with a cozy little raspberry centre, not too big but just enough 😊

We all know we like to keep life sweet, but let’s spice it up a little.

This week’s veggie ‘Samosa’ pasty wrapped in turmeric pastry, with lime pickle yoghurt 🙌
