The recipe you have all loved so much was handed down to me by this lady. Hilda, My Great Nanna.
Every year Nanna would bake us her famous chocolate cake, top it chocolate icing and a circle of chocolate freckles and that was birthdays to us!
Hilda turned an amazing 100 today. 100 years lived well and full of stories and memories. We celebrated her and the mighty 100 on the weekend and of course I pulled out the baking pans and baked her a cake 🤍🤍

It was my littler sisters 30th Birthday this weekend so I dusted off the apron and got baking.
I made the dried flower crown with beautiful dried flowers from , a touch of gold leaf and the perfect topper from to finish it off ✨🤍
Currently still not taking any orders but I will share pics along the way until I work out what to do with this account.
Last weekend I did a sneaky cake for a close family member - here it is in all it’s glory surrounded my styling.
One thing is do miss about cakes and events is working with all the amazing suppliers and seeing everything come together just so perfectly 💕✨

I have baked too much and have 4 of these delicious treat boxes left for Christmas.
Boxes include; 3 types of fudge, 2 types of Brownies, 2 mini tarts, a cheesecake, 2 Christmas cookies, two types of Rocky Road and some extra little chocolates etc.
Pick up is in Wauchope today from 10am or I am meeting in Port at 3:30-3/45 at a meeting spot.

I’m nearly done putting all the finishing touches on my Mothers Day range- a little late but I’ve been waiting for some items in the post.
I’ll be taking photos tomorrow and releasing tomorrow afternoon.

I’ve been tossing and turning over the release of Mothers Day goodies but I’ve decided mums are pretty special and especially in a time like this that they need to be treated with some delicious sweets!
I have a few ideas in the pipeline but what is available at this stage;
- Treat boxes (smaller version) $45 including delivery - this will include, truffles, brownies, fudge, Macarons, tarts, cupcakes and other delicious sweets.
- DIY cookies for the little ones to treat mum/nan/special one on MothersDay $18 including delivery

DIY COOKIE PACKS 🐰
An Easter gift for the little and big - 3 Easter cookies to paint and decorate as you please , some sprinkles and a bunny paint palette. Just dip your brush in water and into the paint. Decorate with sprinkles if you please and then you can eat your own masterpiece! It’s all edible!
Cookie packs are $18 with safe contactless delivery. Delivery days next week (starting 6th April)

EASTER BOXES
I have a limited release of Easter Boxes available. Please take note of the below before you order
**I will be delivering ALL boxes with contactless delivery. This means, payment will be made via invoice and when I deliver I will be calling you and watching from afar as you get the box from your front door. I have a young family at home and will not be putting them or you at risk by taking a cash payment or a pick up option. Due to the delivery there is $5 extra fee included in prices.
**The boxes pictured are from last year and there are differences;
- The treat boxes are smaller, however filled with more homemade goods ratio. I am yet to decide everything that will be in there but you can expect, fudge, tarts, brownie and rocky road as a definite
- The fudge flavours will be different and will be 8 fudge included - not 6.
- I will also have something a bit extra for the kid’s, however I’m waiting on supplies before I release these! (Keep tuned early next week)

Yesterday was my last wedding and my last cake officially for Fika For Days! I couldn’t be happier to finish with such a beautiful bride who was so trusting. Her week the last week has been incredibly stressful with all the changes happening so close to a day she had been planning for a long time. Congratulations to Cassie and Blake, I’m so happy you got your happy ever after 💓💫

I’m a stress head by nature and I’m just a wee bit stressed about the impending future of how to day to day life will be and in the bigger picture how the country will fare for them!
