We collected some great reviews from our tours across Hastings Farm Gate Tour weekend and will be sharing them over the next little while. We met some wonderful, interested, curious people ranging in age from 6 months old to mid-eighties. We had a 5-year old shuck an oyster perfectly. We had visitors from overseas who had a translator with them. We live in a great community and are proud to have been able to showcase a prime local product and an industry with a long and absorbing history. Our only downside - we didn’t get time to tour any of the other farms as we had so much going on! Maybe next year! Greater Port Macquarie Destination NSW Destination North Coast

Hastings FarmGate Tour 2026

We had a five-year old who did a superb job of shucking his own oyster on our Hastings Farm Gate Tour event today, finished off with limes from our tree! What a great weekend, and so good to see the younger crew getting a taste for the product.
