There’s something really special about baking recipes that take you straight back to your childhood.

These are Salvadoran Quesadillas, not to be confused with the savoury kind you might know. This traditional Salvadoran treat is a soft, slightly sweet cheese bread made with simple ingredients like cheese, eggs, flour, and a hint of sweetness, then topped with sesame seeds for that perfect finish.

This recipe is extra close to my heart because it’s my mum’s 🧡 The smell alone brings back so many memories from growing up, and now I get to share that same comfort with you.

They’re soft, rich, lightly sweet, and honestly… so hard to stop at just one.
Perfect with a cup of coffee, for a morning treat, or just because you deserve something delicious.
