A full 12 hours in the life of a baker girl 💅🏼

4am start, Chloe bestie rolling 250 choc chip cookies, my oven deciding it wanted to play games 🙃, the first decorating of the September cookies, organised CHAOS, lemon meringues getting their glow up 🍋☁️ and finally… Father’s Day orders packed and ready to go 🥹💛

Some days are cute little baking days…
and some days are TWELVE HOURS OF PURE CHAOS 😂

But seeing everything lined up at the end makes it all worth it 🥹

SEPTEMBER IS BUSY, BESTIES 💕🍪

Apparently I’ve decided sleep is optional this month 😂

8 markets. 4 locations/dates across Perth & Peel. A brand-new September cookie menu. And Father’s Day to kick it all off.

The big one 👉🏼 Sunday 13th we’re doing TWO markets in ONE DAY 😮‍💨
Honeywood Farmers Market 8am–12pm
then straight down to Peel Estate Winery Farmers Market 10am–2pm 💗

We’ve also got our Thursday night Food Lanes, Rockingham Twilight Market + plenty of Honeywood Sundays throughout the month.

Menus & pre-orders will be announced closer to each market date — because your girl can only think about one bake at a time 😂

SUMMER MARKET STALLHOLDERS… I NEED YOUR HELP 😭☀️🍪

We’re barely into the warmer weather and I already have a problem 😂

The second the sun hits my cabinet, my caramel slices start MELTING 🫠 and considering there’s a whole Perth summer ahead of us… I need to figure this out ASAP.

How are my fellow bakers / market stallholders keeping their products cool without having everything hidden away in an esky?!

I still want my treats out on display and looking cute 🎀 but I need to protect the chocolate, caramel, buttercream and everything else that absolutely does NOT appreciate the WA sun 😂

Shade cloth? Insulated cabinets? Fans? Ice packs? Different display setup? Some genius market hack I don’t know about?!

PLEASE drop your tips below because your girl and her caramel slice are not surviving 40°C like this 😂🫠☀️
