is returning to Trigg for it’s 7th epic season! The award-winning markets for conscious folk and oceans lovers, kicks off on Saturday 22nd October and will run fortnightly until 18th March 2023.

Summer X Salt Markets brings together a talented line-up of more than 200 ocean inspired and sustainable minded local creatives, artists and designers. As well as the stalls, there’s so much on offer for market goers – including delicious food and drink trucks, live music by emerging musicians, kids’ nature play activities, free outdoor wellness sessions and coastal clean-ups. It’s a fun, wholesome, chilled vibe, where the whole family (even dogs) are welcome.

F E S T I V E F L O W & G R A Z E - and have collaborated to create a nourishing and indulgent pre-Christmas Sunday session, Festive Flow & Graze ✨🌿

Gather your gang and join them for a bohemian luxe afternoon in the courtyard of Folk & Merchant (in Doubleview) to celebrate the start of the festive season. Enjoy 2 hours of bliss – yoga, prosecco, delicious grazing boards, live acoustic music, and beautiful coastal vibes.

The intimate afternoon will commence with a 60-minute feel-good flow yoga class accompanied with chilled tunes. On arrival, each guest will be given a glass of prosecco, so you can sip while you stretch. Following yoga, kick back and relax around the low rustic tables and tassel umbrellas, while enjoying live acoustic music by and watching the sunset. Folk & Merchant will be serving decadent grazing boards to share, and prosecco will be flowing…

brings together an epic line up of surf and salty inspired artists and designers, food and drink trucks, live music, kids nature play activities, wellness sessions and coastal cleanups. It’s a wholesome, laidback and family friendly vibe ✌🏻

Part of their mission is to create a healthy and happy community, and they do this by offering Free Wellness Classes. Everyone is welcome:

Kicking off on Saturday 23rd October 2021, there will be twelve sets of markets running through to 19th March 2022.

Summer X Salt Markets brings together an outstanding line-up of consciously curated surf and salty inspired artists and designers, food and drink trucks, live music by emerging musicians, kids nature play activities, wellness sessions and coastal clean-ups. It’s a wholesome, laidback, and family-friendly vibe.

It’s more than just a market - it simultaneously connects the community through creativity and wellness, whilst giving more than 200 conscious creatives a solid and supportive platform to grow their business, as well as encouraging positive and sustainable practices to benefit the planet 💕

To support the health and connection of the community, the free wellness offerings are expanding so everyone can benefit from yoga classes, meditation, sound healing, Pilates and pop-up ice baths. Children can enjoy free nature play activities and craft at the Little Legends tent. Summer X Salt Markets is also a dog friendly event.

Live music has also become a key element of Summer X Salt Markets, adding to the relaxed salty vibes. Emerging artists aged between 12 - 25 years perform acoustic music in hourly sets, offering them an opportunity to gain experience playing in front of an audience.

Laura Fletcher] , Perth’s newest coastal café and vibrant retail space is officially opening its doors on Sunday, 3rd October 2021.

The opening day in Doubleview will be filled with complimentary treats for the community, and everyone is invited.

Most importantly, there will be free coffee all morning (yep you heard me right!), along with a free community yoga class, live acoustic music and kids’ nature play activities. It will give the community a taste of what Folk & Merchant is all about… specialty coffee, wholesome food, community activities and overall good vibes:

🔹7am – 8am: Free yoga class in the courtyard with

🔹8am – 12pm: Folk & Merchant officially opens its doors, serving free coffee all morning

🔹9am – 11am: Live acoustic music by local singer songwriter,

The full food menu won’t be available on Sunday 3rd October, however there will be some free platters of tasters including local artisanal sour dough by , paired with home-made relishes and jams by Oohlala Preserves. More substantial snacks and counter food will be available to purchase. The full food menu will commence on Monday 4th October.

A young couple is behind the latest cafe addition in Perth’s northern suburbs, bringing together earthy vibes and coastal style.

A trendy new addition is opening its doors this Spring, in the humming coastal Doubleview neighbourhood ✨

Introducing Folk & Merchant, a vibrant café and lifestyle retail space blended into one, oozing with beautiful earthy, coastal style.

Renovations are currently underway to convert the space (that was Mr Herberts) into a lush suburban oasis. An inspiring, welcoming, and tranquil place for kindred ‘folk’ to connect, create and relax.

Tassel umbrellas, cacti and rustic wood furniture will be adorning the exterior of Folk & Merchant. There will be a play area for little ones, along with stylish picnic rugs and low seated furniture for families, friends and loved ones to gather in the sunshine. Inside, the fresh airy space will be styled with natural tones and textures, coastal boho aesthetics, timber furniture, a lush garden wall, Moroccan silk cushions, dried native flowers, rattan lamp shades and hammock hanging chairs. Serious eye candy for design lovers.

It will be an ever-evolving space and grow with the community.

The café will serve exceptional specialty coffee with their own unique blend, paired with wholesome and nutritious food. The lifestyle retail space will be stocked with gorgeous homewares, gifts, and lifestyle products from artisan Australian brands, along with organic children’s clothing label, . The dream is to build a creative hub offering workshops, yoga classes and buskers will join on the weekends, playing live acoustic music in the courtyard area.

Folk & Merchant will open in two phases. In mid-September 2021, the first phase will open, seeing the café and lifestyle retail space come to life. Phase two will follow in a few months, where the venue will expand to have a patio and relaxed outdoor seating space, along with a kid’s nature play area.

Stay tuned for details of the opening weekend, that will be filled with complimentary treats for the community.

is celebrating its 40th anniversary this weekend 🥳 To celebrate they’re winding back the clock to the 80’s from 13th - 15th August. Mini golf pricing will go back to $8 per person, 80’s music will be playing and will be serving 80’s inspired meals and cocktails. Dress ups are welcome and encouraged🕺🏻
