Quotes and Deposits
Quotes are valid for seven (7) days from the date of issue. Please note that a quote does not constitute a booking – your booking date is not secured until a holding fee of 25% of your order has been received. The holding fee amount will depend on the total amount of the cake. Once the holding fee has been paid, the quoted price is fixed to the original design ordered, and your date is secured. Any changes to the original design quote are subject to viability and quote review. Should the design change, Simply Stylish Cakes will endeavour to accommodate your changes, however, we reserve the right to amend the quote accordingly (where applicable) to reflect the changes required. In the event that an agreement can not be reached on changes to the revised quote, the normal cancellation procedure is applicable, please see below. Payment
A payment schedule will be created for your order with full payment being required two (2) week prior to your event. Payment is via Cash or Direct Deposit only. Banking details will be provided upon request. Change to Design
In most cases we will be able to accommodate changes to the design, depending on the notice provided and how far to completion your cake is. Where design changes involve additional cost and/or effort than originally quoted, there may be an additional charge applied. All cake designs are subject to artistic license. Cancellations
If you decide to cancel your order after the holding fee has been paid, a full refund will be applicable if the order is cancelled within fourteen (14) days from the order acceptance date. For cancellations that are received more than four (4) weeks from delivery date, a full refund of the deposit is applicable. In all other cases, cancellation refunds will be subject to reasonable costs incurred. Covid19
if your event is affected by a change in Government policies more than two (2) weeks out from your event:-
the order can be transferred to a new date at no cost, subject to if the new date is more than 12 months the order will be recalculated and an increase maybe incurred. if your event is affected by a change in Government policies less than two (2) weeks out from your event:-
if your cakes are baked you will receive your cake as ordered, most will be able to be frozen, I do not have the facility to store frozen cakes. If your cakes have not been baked, we will discuss alternative arrangements, the order can be transferred to a new date at no cost, subject to if the new date is more than 12 months the order will be recalculated and an increase maybe incurred. If you wish to change the order to accommodate a smaller guest list, a new price for the reduce order will be calculated and any purchased products for the original order not used will be charged for. Storage
Where cakes are covered in sugar paste, or have sugar paste figurines, these should not be refrigerated as this may cause the icing to run due to condensation. Storage of these items should be in a cool dry place, away from direct sunlight. Delivery and Collection
If you require delivery please advise us when placing your order. Wedding cakes will be delivered and set up at your venue within the Perth Metropolitan Area as part of the original quote. Acceptance of the cake indicates that the cake has been delivered/collected n good condition. Please note that we can not accept responsibility for loss or damage to the goods after delivery/collection has taken place. Where delivery has been pre-arranged, anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods will be taken to have been authorised to receive the goods by you and will need to sign the necessary paperwork. Photo Usage
Simply Stylish Cakes reserves the right to use any photos we take of your creation for any media related activities such as our website, Facebook or advertising. These terms and conditions are current as of March 2021 and are subject to change without notice.
