❤️ A Quick Note From Waterview Bakery ❤️

Like many small businesses, we've seen increases in ingredient, packaging and operating costs over the past year.

To help us continue making the pies, cakes, pastries and coffee you know and love, we'll be making a small adjustment to some of our bakery product prices from Monday.

We know nobody gets excited about price increases (trust us, neither do we! 😅), but we're committed to continuing to provide quality products, friendly service and the homemade goodness we're known for.

🌙 The bakery survived another week. Barely. 😂

This week at Waterview...

☕ Coffee was consumed.

🥧 Pies were baked.

😅 A few questionable decisions were made.

🧠 We baked for Brain Cancer and, thanks to our amazing community, raised funds for a cause close to many hearts.

💛 Once again, Paynesville reminded us why we love being part of this community.

🤔 We started another Facebook debate and I learnt that vanilla slice icing is apparently a far more serious topic than I ever realised.

🧄 I also discovered that learning sourdough is harder than it looks. This week's roasted garlic and cheese experiment has been filed under "lessons learnt" 😅

🥧 The bain marie kept us busy.
☕ The coffee machine worked overtime.
😂 And somehow we made it to Friday.

📅 Coming this week...

🍔 Bain Marie Heroes are ready.
🥧 The ovens are warming up.
☕ The coffee is standing by.
😅 And there will almost certainly be more questionable decisions.

🐕 Zen – Waterview Bakery's muscle has decided bakery life isn't for him and is currently pursuing a career in farming.

🐶 Alphie – Remains unconvinced and is quietly waiting for Zen's business plan to fail before saying "I told you so."

Running a small food business means early mornings, long days, plenty of hard work, and a whole lot of passion. Whether you're making pies, cakes, coffee or donuts, we know the effort that goes in behind the scenes.

Today we're celebrating a fellow local business that has built something pretty special and brings a lot of smiles to a lot of faces. 🍩😊

What an incredible result for our Baking for Brain Cancer fundraiser.

Together we raised a total of $248 for this important cause.

As a community, you purchased:
☕ 130 coffees
🌭 49 sausage rolls
🐾 15 packets of Smart Bones dog treats

Plus additional donations through our change bucket.

From the bottom of our hearts to the tops of our pie warmers, thank you. 💛

Your support, generosity and community spirit continue to amaze us. This fundraiser was built on the idea that a small town coming together one bakery treat at a time can make a difference — and you proved exactly that.
