Cakes cakes cakes
They have been a big part of my life.
I remember waking up before everyone on a weekend and making mums packet mixes to dragging my friends into the bookstore to buy the new recipe books.
In high school leaning how to make eclairs with the strangest piping tube thing mum had.
I was 18 when I started my apprenticeship.
I would work in The bakery then go and do wedding flowers with mum.
I started making cakes for family and friends.
Then one day mum asked me to help one of her couples with a wedding cake. And my cakes grew from there but not one was it my first cake for someone wedding from that cake I made a very special friend that has been beside me to this day.
Well now its that time to hang up the utensils.
I have made the decision last year to now just concentrate on my wedding flowers as that’s growing over the years.
I still have just a few in the books to finish off but not taking anymore orders.
I would like to thank everyone for the support and sharing of my cake business over the years and all the special friends I have made along the way.
