We’re blown away. 🤯
I’ve been thinking on how to write a post that could possibly sum up the gratitude and love that Bel and I (Stacey) are feeling about the fundraiser that was hosted for us a week ago and I’m not sure this will even do it justice but I have to share. Forrest from approached us with this plan and idea to hold a fundraiser for us and the tough time we’ve had this year; when he did I was blown away by the kindness alone. But, Forrest and his team went above and beyond, delivering an event with the Paddington community that is truly indescribable.
They raised an INSANE amount of money to help support ourselves and our business, but they did so much more than that - they showed us what community really meant and felt like. Combined with the beautiful community we have as customers and followers, despite the s**t show this year has been, it’s also ending in an incredible way.
I cannot thank everyone who donated, work on this event and attended this event enough for everything you’ve given Bel & I. I can only hope we have the same opportunity to deliver the same support to others in the future.
To those who donated prizes, we’ll be reaching out individually to offer thanks. I’d LOVE to thank all 150 attendees individually but it might take me a while, so please know that you have our utter love & gratitude for being so kind and generous.
Support your small local businesses, your surrounding communities and one another. I can now tell you from personal experience, it has life changing effects.
