Have you heard our news?
Yes, that's right - we have SOLD.
And in true serendipitous nature, our settlement date is our birthday, (the day we took over) Friday 18th September. You can't write this stuff.
We have had an adventure filled 6 years, with many ups and downs, starting with taking over in 2020 amongst covid, and much more insanity.
We've worked with some amazing staff. Superstars really, that will always feel like family. Not to mention our many wonderful, loyal customers that we will cherish and remember for years to come. We litterly could not have done it without you.
Please make sure you pop in over the coming weeks to say goodbye, and use up your coffee cards or gift vouchers - as these expire when we leave.
Bevan & I would also like to wish the new owners - Chrissy & Jeremy - all the best for the future. We are so glad we could sell to locals who we know will keep up the Orbost Bakery reputation, quality and standards. We hope you continue to show them the same loyalty and love we have always received. They have some exciting new ideas, and we can't wait to see what they come up with.
Oh and don't stress, I'm sure you'll still see us both around. Bevan will be baking in Bairnsdale, and if you're in Lakes Entrance, make sure you visit Amanda at the coffee cart outside Woolworths.
