🎨 Sometimes, expression doesn’t need words.

For Bianca, art has become a way to express herself, explore her creativity and share a little piece of who she is with the world.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that creativity isn’t about being “good” at art - it’s about having the opportunity, encouragement and space to create something that is uniquely yours. 💜

What does art mean to you? 🎨

For us, it's so much more than paint on a canvas. It's creativity, confidence, self-expression and connection. Or as our Founder Barb says, 'art is life'.

To celebrate SALA, we had our own BE SEEN Art Day, where people came together to create, share stories and remind us that everyone has a unique way of expressing who they are. The joy, laughter and beautiful artwork captured in this video is exactly what August is all about.

For one local family of six, life is full of school mornings, therapy appointments, swimming lessons, baking, dinner-table reflections — and plenty of love.

With three autistic daughters, this family’s story is one of understanding, resilience and celebrating each child for who they are. From navigating diagnosis and NDIS support, to challenging common misunderstandings about autism, their journey reminds us that every child’s strengths, needs and dreams are unique.
