We had the pleasure of welcoming Angolan Ambassador Mr Antonio Manuel Luvualu Carvalho and members of the Angolan community to Cafe Pastel for a special gathering.

It was a lovely morning filled with great conversation, warm hospitality, and of course plenty of Portuguese tarts and coffee.

Moments like these make Cafe Pastel more than just a café — it’s a place where cultures connect over good food and great company.

Our seasonal fig Portuguese tarts are back for a short time — sweet, golden, and made fresh in-house.

They’ll only be around until mid-February, so now’s the time to try them (or come back for another 😉).

We’re now opening from 7am, so you can drop in for coffee, breakfast, or a quick bite before work, uni, or your day gets going.

We’ve added new savoury breakfast tarts to the menu — freshly made and perfect for mornings on the go 🥧

Breakfast tart flavours:

• Tomato & Mushroom
• Spiced Beef, Onion & Cheese
