Still trying to find the words for this one honestly. 🤩
What started as just a few loaves on a weekend bench at home has slowly grown into hundreds of loaves making their way across our community each week… and we genuinely still can’t quite believe it.
When we first started making sourdough, it wasn’t actually about building a business. It was because we ourselves struggled with a lot of supermarket bread. The additives, emulsifiers, preservatives, numbers and ultra-processed ingredients in modern bread just didn’t sit well with us anymore. We wanted to go back to something slower, simpler and more traditional.
So we started baking long-fermented sourdough at home using real ingredients, time and proper fermentation.
Once we moved into Huntlee and started sharing a few loaves, word spread incredibly quickly. One customer became two. Two became ten. Ten became fifty. And somehow… now it’s grown into this beautiful community around slow bread and real food.
At the heart of everything we do is the belief that bread shouldn’t just be convenient. It should nourish people.
We care deeply about gut health, digestion, long fermentation, and removing unnecessary additives and fillers from everyday food. More and more research continues to show the incredible benefits of traditional sourdough fermentation for digestibility, flavour and overall wellbeing.

…feels incredibly emotional for us because this business has been built around work, parenting, exhaustion, self-doubt, very little sleep and a whole lot of persistence. .

This has never just been about bread to us. It’s about community, nourishment, connection and creating something meaningful.
And we’re only just getting started.
