I have heard from so many that rye bread with honey and banana should taste delicious, so I decided to try for myself today. I must say, not too bad at all 😋🐝🍌😃.
There are no limits to what you can have on your slice of rye bread. One of my favourites is still salmon with cottage cheese, red onion, dill and white peber 😋.
To order send me a message on my page “Sofie’s Goodness” and I will get back to you with a confirmation as well as to agree on a pick up day of your order.

My grandmother Marie used to bake this nutritious and healthy rye bread with love and affection. After she passed away, I began to make it myself based on her recipe. Moving to Australia with my family in 2015, I managed to source the best organic ingredients locally so I could continue to bake my grandmothers scrumptious rye bread.
Like all other danish kids, our three young daughters have rye bread sandwiches in their lunch box everyday. It is my experience that rye bread, with all its fibres and nutrition, carries them through the day without getting hungry plus increases their well being and concentration.
There are no limitations on what you can put on your rye bread, basically anything you like and what you would normally have with your white bread. We call it “Smørrebrød” which is an open faced sandwich.
TIPS
Plain: A toasted slice with butter is simple and delicious.
Rye bread croutons: Cut the bread into small cubes and fry them on a pan with a bit of olive oil and salt flakes. Delicious on salads, soups or just as a healthy snack.
Ingredients:
Organic ingredients only
Whole rye flour, whole wheat flour, sourdough, purified water, whole rye grains, rolled spelt, sunflower seed kernels, brown linseeds, sugar, salt and beer. Brushed with olive oil.
(Choco Rye: plus dark chocolate)
Storage / Best before
I recommend to keep the rye bread in a sealed bag/container to keep it moist. Best stored at room temperature for 2-3 days after which it should be kept in the fridge. Alternatively you can freeze the bread - whole or sliced.
